Providenciales also boasts Grace Bay which is a major tourist destination with many hotels and condominiums, but also featuring shopping and local entertainment. A quick 15 minute drive from Chalk Sound takes you to this bustling nerve center.
North Caicos is a 20 minute ferry ride from Providenciales, and invites you to the second largest island in the Turks & Caicos, also known as the 'Bread Basket' or 'Garden Island'. Then rent a car and find your self on the causeway to Middle Caicos the least populated of all the islands.
Experience the 'Middle Caicos Crossing Place Trail' a magnificent, rustic coastal trail stretching along Mudjin Harbour to the edge of Conch Bar. If stepping back in time and experiencing the 'natural life'of the Turks & Caicos is your aim, this is the island to visit for the day.
